How to use the WhatsApp Connector.

The Whatsapp connector was created to let businesses gather data and run analytics on top of the conversations that the associated phone numbers have with other contacts. To use this connector you just have to provide credentials which gives MovingLake access to your WhatsApp for Business account. Using this access, the MovingLake connector can extract in real-time all message, phone number and media related information.

Requirements.

Your Whatsapp for Business Account needs to be assigned to a business in business.facebook.com. Otherwise it will be impossible to get your Whatsapp Business Account ID.

Getting your Whatsapp Business Account ID.

Please make sure you have your WABA (WhatsApp Business Account) ID handy. To get it, go to Business Manager > Business Settings > Accounts > WhatsApp Business Accounts, the WABA ID shows up at the top.

Following is a list of entities we currently support for this connector:

• Messages: We sync all of your account’s messages for all phone numbers.
• Phone Numbers: We sync every phone number that has contacted your accounts or which has been contacted by you.
• Contacts: We sync all the contacts with which you have traded messages.
